Baltimore Man, 51, Killed In Crash Near South Locust Point Marine Terminal Entrance: Mdta

A Baltimore man was killed in an early morning crash near the entrance of the South Locust Point Marine Terminal, authorities said.

The crash occurred near the 2000 block of East McComas Street shortly before 4:50 a.m. Monday, March 11, the MDTA Police said.

Investigators believe a black Nissan Maxima was speeding when it veered off the left side of the roadway, striking the marine terminal’s gate and fencing.

The driver, a 51-year-old Baltimore man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the MDTA Police at 410-633-1130.
